Jim Bane Smith

He was hit with a baseball and later died.

Nellie said that Jim Bane and his brothers could build a "flying gennie" out in the woods.

They would cut down a small tree for a post, then attach a small tree to swivel on the post.

Kind of like a modern merry go round, only a two seater.

Nellie named a son Jim Bane, but could not call him by his name because of the memories.

He was "Baney" all of his young life. Later on he was called Jim.
